All  chips and snacks "Onega" company are prepared using pellet technology.  These products have several advantages over conventional chips from fresh potatoes. Roasting a potato chip “Onega” in oil is about 10-15 seconds, and the vegetable oil content of 20-22%. For comparison: the ordinary potato chips are fried for 1-2 minutes and contain 40-45% oil. Therefore, in potato chips "Onega" on 24% less fat and on 15% fewer calories. They are ideal for those who love snacks, but at the same time keeping fit and health.

Moreover the pellet chips have stable taste, proper and nice appearance and they are free of «eyeholes».

Production technology

The first stage of production is short time frying of semi-product (pellet) in the vegetable oil. We use only high quality refined vegetable oil of deep purification.

In the next step is to add flavor seasonings.

The final stage — the packaging of chips. Chips and snacks of "Onega" packaged in a two-layer metalized film. This is reflects the sun's and the heat rays, prevents oxidation and saves an excellent taste of product during the entire period of storage.

The entire production cycle from loading of pellets and up to packing the finished product is carried out on a fully automated line, what is guaranteed the high level of quality and also compliance with all regulations and standards.
